Welcome to the Roxbury Arts Alliance
The Roxbury Arts Alliance is a non-profit volunteer group that promotes the arts in and around Roxbury Township, New Jersey.
Started by a group of parents of high school students nine years ago, the Roxbury Arts Alliance has a proud history of hosting and sponsoring various art events. We are also consultants for other art events in town.
Currently, we are working on the plans to construct a performing arts center (RoxPAC) in Roxbury Township. See our "Links" section for for more information.
All of our events have been graciously co-sponsored and supported by the Roxbury Township Recreation Department.

The Roxbury Arts Alliance major contribution benefits our township’s high school seniors who pursue the arts in college. Over the past nine years, the Roxbury Arts Alliance has awarded nearly $7000 to over a dozen students from our scholarship fund. To finance the scholarship fund, the Roxbury Arts Alliance organizes and hosts an annual concert. This concert features live musical performances, and all ticket proceeds go to the scholarship fund.
The Roxbury Arts Alliance is committed to encouraging an appreciation of the arts across generations in our area.
The Roxbury High School Honors Wind Symphony performed with an ensemble from the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra earlier this month in an effort to raise funds for an upcoming festival trip. The concert raised $3,500 for the school's Honors Wind Symphony to travel to Indianapolis at the end of February to participate in the Bands of America National Band Festival.
The Roxbury Arts Alliance thanks Investors Savings Bank for their support in funding and co-sponsoring the concert, which featured a woodwind and brass ensemble from the NJSO. The RHS Honors Wind Symphony performace in the concert gave the audience an opportunity to enjoy the talent that is among just 16 high school bands selected from throughout the United States to participate in the festival.
Special thanks go to the many volunteers who helped make this enjoyable and successful evening possible.

As the new year gets off to a chilly start, we are looking ahead to the entire year. Our plans include but are not limited to sponsoring and coordinating some concerts, and workshops, as well as programs with the school district. We are also developing the plans for a performing arts center and expanding our membership and volunteer base.

The Roxbury Arts Alliance is always open to new members. We are not necessarily all artists ourselves - rather, we are an enthusiastic group of volunteers of all ages who love the arts and want to promote them in our area. We welcome new ideas and could always use the efforts and interests of more volunteers.
