If you have ideas to make Post and Unit functions more fun, exciting, or profitable, please talk to the Commander, President, or Club Manager. We want to hear from you!

Easter falls on April 4th this year and we will be having our annual Easter Brunch complete with a glass of champagne. The menu will include glazed ham, fried chicken, assorted quiches, au gratin potatoes, honey glazed baby carrots, salad, fruit and pastry bars and a special treat for all the kids from the Easter Bunny. Prices will be $7 for members, $8 for non-members and kids under 12 eat free, We will be serving from 11am till 2pm.

As the snow melts we are looking forward to more events outside. The West High Baseball team and the Boy Scouts are both gearing up for their annual "Garage Sales" and car washes in April and May. This year I would like to have a Post 1 yard sale in June and invite all of you to join us. Whether it be in the form of renting a table to sell your valuables or dropping by to see what bargains there are to be had, I encourage you to come on down and check us out. Dates have not been set yet, but we are hoping for a sunny day in June.

Also, if you know of anyone looking for a place to celebrate their own events, the calendar for the back yard and upstairs still has a few dates open for that summer wedding or birthday party.

There is always something going on at Post 1 from Connie's home cooking on Tuesdays to our steak nights on Friday. If you haven't tried any of Connie's fare you are really missing out.

I would be remiss if I didn't take this opportunity to thank my volunteers who help me and the Post so very much. Thanks to all of you who help me! We are always looking for fresh ideas and ways to make our Post even more successful. If you have an idea or just wish to visit come on down and see me, my door is always open.

On behalf of me and my staff, Pablo, Martha, Jen, and our newest addition, Chef James, thank you Post 1 members for your continued support.
