Josie Wilson holds a MBA from the University of Alaska Anchorage with an emphasis in Organizational Behavior. She is part of the executive leadership team for The Salvation Army Alaska Division as the Community Relations and Development Director. She is also a Board Member for Alaska Junior Theater, Alaska Center for the Performing Arts, Leadership Council of the Anchorage Chamber of Commerce and the Anchorage Petroleum Wives Club. Having participated in professional endeavors such as the Anchorage SmokeFree Coalition, Association of Fundraising Professionals-Alaska Chapter, American Marketing Association, and Alaska Giving Coalition, Josie Wilson is committed to building a better community. She received her BS in Marketing and Management with a minor in Psychology, Dance, and the University Honors Program from Chapman University. Josie received the “Volunteer of the Year” award from the Anchorage Chamber of Commerce in 2010 and in 2011 became a “Top 40 Under 40” recipient from the Alaska Journal of Commerce. Recently, Josie added “adjunct faculty” to her resume and is teaching upper division management courses at the University of Alaska Anchorage in the College of Business and Public Policy.
