WILD BOAR CHALLENGE

Always looking for an excuse to ride our bikes , Sunday the 10 October found the more experienced(read older) members of Bad Brains MBC tear arsing around the local trails in aid of charity on the Rothwell Lions 'Wild Boar Challenge' in aid of Childline and Hannah House.
The ride consisted of a 50K loop loosely based around the Trans Pennine Trail, with a good combination of well surfaced tracks, canal towpaths and even some decent singletrack sections. Initially we had planned to ride the route at a steady pace and stick together as a group, but when we realised we were wearing numbers and bearing in mind that it was billed as the Wild Boar Challenge it soon turned into a race of sorts,the results of which will probably debated over at the next few weeks

All participants fully enjoyed the event and collectively we raised over £1000
