Hello Sister Red & Pink Hatters,
Spring is in the air, and the Delightful Red Hat Divas are getting the fever!
We ushered spring in with our first annual "Spring Fling". All Divas took this opportunity to sport their favorite Hat and coordinating outfit. I must say, we looked delightfully divine. Diva's who celebrated birthdays during the first quarter of the year were recognized by the Queen and presented with special gifts ( ornamental hatpins)designed and created by the Queen herself.
We met at the Fraternal Club on Church Street the first Sunday afternoon in March, dining on specially prepared finger foods. We even had a cake frosted in our special colors.
Each Diva was presented an official certificate of membeship, signed by HRH Queen Joyce. Party favors of miniature red/pink hats were also distributed. P> Towards the end of the afternoon, our chapter had the privilege and honor of coronating our first junior pink hat chapter queen, Monica - Queen of the Pink Hat Sisters with Vision. This Pink Hat Chapter will consist of young ladies 25-30 years old. We are so proud of them all. Monica is the daughter of Delightful Diva Celia, Prima Donna Diva. Congratulations Queen Monica!
Red and Pink hat prayers going out to Lady Gala, Diva of Magnificance. Gala has had her share of challenges recently and just this week lost her sister after a long illness. Our prayer to her family as they go thru this trying time.
