HEALS provides free medical and dental care for students without insurance as well as serving students that have insurance. Along with providing medical & dental care, HEALS also provides food, clothing, and SHOES for area children.

The shoes purchased should be for ages 3 to 18 years. Shoe sizes range from size 5's to the largest of children's sizes, and even adult sizes.

The "Heels for HEALS" shoe drive was initiated in 2005 to provide new shoes for children who often come to the clinic wearing shoes that are completely worn out or shoes that are much too small.... so here's how YOU can help!

Go shopping - oh, come on...ya know you like to do that! Buy a pair (or two or three) of NEW shoes and drop them off at one of the following locations:

Lite 96.9 - 8402 Memorial Parkway S (in front of Kroger at Logan Drive)

ANy Madison County Burger King

Martin Luther King Jr. Elementary - Meridian Street

Terry Heights Elementary - Barbara Drive (located in portable outside the school)

West Huntsville Elementary - 9th Avenue (located in portable outside the school)

Lincoln Elementary - Meridian Street (bottom level, signs on the wall)
