The Redstone/Huntsville Chapter of the American Society of Military Comptrollers (ASMC) was chartered on January
24, 1986 with approximately 327 members. We were the largest ASMC chapter
ever chartered. Our chapter membership is currently over 500 strong with six corporate sponsors.

Our primary objective is to provide a forum to keep members informed and abreast of current events in Military
Comptrollership. We strive to promote education and training of chapter members; support the development and advancement of the comptroller
profession; and encourage the exchange of techniques, ideas and information.

The enthusiasm and dedication of our members have helped maintain the National 5-Star Chapter status every year since it's inception. We were
also the recipient of the prestigious Neil R. Ginnetti Professional Development award for two years in a row and received honors for the newsletter
as well. Further, we've been recognized by National Headquarters in the past years for our dynamic Community Programs. We are involved in many
national and local activities and are totally dedicated to giving back not only to the local community but the Comptroller community as well.
