Cumberland Caverns Campout
Cumberland Caverns proved an exiting campout
for an adventurous group from Pack 182.
 |
We drove to Cumberland Caverns located just outside McMinnville, Tennessee.
Once in the parking area we quickly unloaded our stuff. Each
Cub had to carry all of his camping gear on the half-mile trek into the
cave. |

These Cub Scouts are resting in the shadows during a tour of one of
the largest caves east of the Mississippi. |
 |
Eerie formations thrilled us at every turn. Stalagmites, stalactites,
and some columns bridging from floor to ceiling. |
 |
Here CubMaster Mickey Morris stands in front of a large pool of water
and the Moby Dick rock formation ... CaveMaster ? |
