The Peachy Red Hat Friends celebrated our 2nd anniversary February 10th with an outing to see Elvis. We had a great time!! Helping celebrate were Lady MeMe, Lady Funonamon, Nansenile, Jackie O'nasty, MaDonna, Princess Angelina, Willimeno, and Theresa. My this has been a great two years!!

Lady MeMe, Lady Funonamon, Willimeno, Princess Angelina, MaDonna, Jackie O'nasty, Lady Flamingo, Nansenile and a special guest, Linda, all attended the musical "Menapause" in Atlanta on December 10th. We had a great time. We rode the bus with other red hatters (54 in all) and had dinner with a couple of chapters from Georgia on the way back.

There were four of us that attended the "Fabulous 50's Fling" at Perdido Beach Resort at Orange Beach. Lady MeMe, Lady Funonamon, Willomeno, and Princess Angelina had a ball portraying the 50's. We danced with Elvis and had the time of our lives.

Our chapter went to The Gardens Home today. It is an assisted living facility. We carried the ladies red hats and purple and red beads. We all had a good time. Those attending were Lady MeMe, Lady Funonamon, Madonna, Lady Nansenile, Mary, Lady Louise, and Lady Moonbeam.

On Saturday September 17th the our chapter attended the Muscadine Festival at Calloway Gardens. We had a great time and went shopping in Warm Springs afterward. Those enjoying the day were Lady MeMe, Willomeno, Mary and Lady Funonamon.

On Friday August 19th we had a spend the night party at Lady Flamingo's lake house. Lady Flamingo, Nansenile, Lady Funonamon, Lady Willimeno, Lady MeMe and a new member Mary was there. We all had a great time.

On Thursday August 11th, Lady MeMe, Lady Funonamon, Lady Nansenile, Lady Willimeno, Flower Child, Red Hat Flasher and Lady Moonbean attended a luncheon at Hotel Talisi. There was a ceremony for Lady MeMe's "Reduation". It was great. Afterward we walked the sidewalks and shopped the little shops. We all had a great time!

At our regular monthly get together on August 8th, the group had a "Reduation" for Lady MeMe. It was held at Lady Funonamon's house and I must say that she went all out!! She had everthing decorated so pretty. Everything was beautiful! The "Reduation" ceremony was lovely. There was so much food and a ton of gifts. There were 15 hatters attending. It was great!!!!

We really enjoyed the play at the Alabama Shakesphere Theater on Sunday July 30th. The play was "Always Patsy Cline". Those attending were Lady MeMe, Lady Funonamon, Madonna, Jackie O'nasty, and Lady Willimeno. It was a great play.

Lady MeMe and Lady Willimeno had a great time at the Beach Hoo Ha in Panama City Beach in May. All of you that did not attend really missed out!

Lady Funonamon and Lady MeMe had a great time in April on the Red Hat Cruise. I wished that all of you could have been there.

The Peachy Red Hat Friends had a great Christmas party at Lady MeMe's house. We played "Dirty Santa", the "Reindeer Poop" game and "Mr and Mrs Wright" game. We had prizes for the games. There were great refreshments provided by the hatters. We also had a new member. Welcome Glenda M. to the wonderful world of Red Hatting!!!!

Six of us attended the Beach Hoo Ha put on by the Boop Oop A Doops in October and had a blast. As you all know huricane Ivan crashed the first planned Hoo Ha in September. They had to move the Hoo Ha from Perdido beach to Panama City beach because of Ivan destroying the beach at Perdido. Lady MeMe, Dutchess Willimino, Lady Funonamon, Lady Marmalade, Lady Leta and Dutchess Morticia of Wallwood all had a great time. We had a luau, (we can hula now), a fashion show (in which Lady Funonamon participated), hat making session, pampering sessions, kareoke, limo rides (Lady MeMe and Dutchess Morticia won rides) and much, much fun!!! We thank Lyn and Rebel so much for this great time. I wished that everyone could have been there.

The Peachy Red Hat Friends had a slumber party at Lady Flamingo's lake house on Friday August 27th. We all had a great time. We ate and watched the movie Calendar Girls. It was great!

Lady MeMe and Lady Funonamon attended the fashion show in Valley Al. on Saturday. It was a blast. There were about 100 red hatters attending with only 4 being pink hatters. Never knew that a fashion show could be so much fun!!

Eight of the Peachy Red Hat Friends went on the Betsy Ann Riverboat cruise on Sunday July 25th. We had a ball as usual. Our thanks goes to Lady Marmalade for putting this all together.

The Peachy Red Hat Friends got together at Peach Park on Tuesday June 13th. We had 14 pink and red hatters there. We celebrated Lady Funonamon's birthday. As usual we love to celebrate anytime we get a chance to.

Special thanks go to Maggie (Morticia of Walwood) and Melanie (Lady Marmalade) for a great job on all of the posters for the parade. They were great!!!

On Friday June 25th six of the Peachy Red Hat Friends attended the Rodeo held in Saginaw by the Calera fire department. There were 39 Red Hatters there representing five different chapters. We had fun meeting other chapter members.

The Peachy Red Hat Friends participated in the annual Chilton County Peach Parade on Saturday June 26th. There were about twelve of us that participated. Everyone had a great time. The local vintage car club supplied us with four cars and four drivers. Morticia of Walwood decorated her new truck so we had a total of five vehicles in the parade. We threw hats, candy, and beads in the parade which made us a big hit!

We tip our hats to the Vintage Car Club. They are great!!!

Be thinking about a Daughter/Granddaughter tea. We can show them what red hatting is all about and get to include them. If you have any suggestions let me know.
