The Foundation

The Safeplace Foundation was initiated to ensure, enhance, and enrich the facilities, programs, and services provided by Safeplace, Inc. The Foundation and its supporters touch the lives of victims each day by securing Safeplace's future in our community and giving hope to all of those affected by domestic violence.

Oversight of Funds

The Foundation provides for the needs of Safeplace on many levels and seeks to ensure the longevity of the organization. The contributions secured by the Foundation will be used to fund the services and programs Safeplace continually provides to each of the six counties it serves.

The Foundation has also created an endowment to ensure the future of Safeplace and prevent a funding crisis. Interest earned from the account will provide a steady and dependable source of revenue for Safeplace while the endowment itself provides stability. The endowment is the first step in reaching Safeplace's goal of being self sufficient. The success of the foundation will be seen directly in Safeplace's ability to help and educate the communities it serves.

All contributions to Safeplace will now be made through the Foundation. Giving opportunities and assistance are available regarding planned giving, investment opportunities, restricted and unrestricted gifts, as well as both honorariums and memorials.

Make a Difference

As family violence remains prevalent, Safeplace must continue to provide hope to those in need and raise the level of awareness. Prevention efforts in our schools and communities are just one of the ways Safeplace works to break the cycle of abuse.

Your contributions to the Foundation will help Safeplace continue to change the lives of survivors. Your generosity to the work of the Foundation helps us to guarantee that victims of domestic violence have hope for a safe and productive future.
