MDA TELETHON

November 2009

Fox 16 in Little Rock was the local host station for the 2007 MDA Telethon. Rosemarie, Donna Terrel,Fox 16 news anchor, Jo, Troy Bridges, Fox weather anchor and Queen Wanda

It's on to the phones we go. Seems Queen Wanda can't find her seat....or is it that she just wanted everyone to see her backside!!

This young lady was drafted by her mom to fill in when there was a vacant seat! She was quite a trooper with her breast cancer pink hat on!

Snacks were provided in a break room by several local restaurants. This proved to be a great time of red hat fellowship, food and fun...plus it made some great photo ops!

Queen Sheila Burgess, also known as Queen Scooter Bug, of the AFFLR chapter invited several queens from the central Arkansas area to join her chapter as they manned phones at the telethon for the second year. We are looking forward to joining her, along with her chapter members, next year at the telethon. Who knows, we may have enough interest from the Grapettes to man the phones for an hour ourselves!!!! It's definitely a great cause! GO GRAPETTES!!
