Raymond Overton, President of NWAAD for about 30 years passed away on February 3, 2007 after fighting cancer for about 1 year. NWAAD will always remember him as he was a faithful supporter of NWAAD.

Nelle Richardson

Nelle M. Richardson, 97, of Bella Vista, Arkansas died Sunday, July 22, 2007 at Washington Regional Center in Fayetteville, Arkansas. She was born on January 22, 1910 in Bentonville, Arkansas to James N. Morris and Lizzie Duncan Morris. She moved to Kansas at the age of 4 and was raised and educated there. She was married to Marvin Goodwin for 46 years and later married Robert Richardson. She moved to Bella Vista in 2003 from El Grove, California. She was a member of Highland United Methodist Church. She loved to paint, knit and was a member of the Deaf Club.


Curtis Scott

Curtis Roy Scott, 64, of Rogers died Saturday, September 15, 2007 at St. Mary's Hospital. He was born December 16, 1942 in Marble, Arkansas. He was a laborer and a member of the Northwest Arkansas Association of the Deaf.
