Samuel Van Noy, father of Robert Van Noy, passed away on January 28, 2009 in his "second" home in Prairie Grove, Ar. He was born deaf. He attended the Jane Brooks School for the Deaf in Chickasha, Oklahoma, the Center Deaf Institute in St. Louis and public school in Wagoner, Oklahoma. He graduated from the Theodore Roosevelt High School in St. Louis on June 14, 1946. He retired from the Bank of Oklahoma on October 1, 1986 after working there for 33 years.

Jerry Gibson, who is a friend of many of us here in Northwest Arkansas, passed away on April 28, 2009. We will miss him.
