News BOX TOPS! We are collecting box tops during the school year. We are having a competition between grades. It seems that the lower grades are winning each month. I would like to see the 5th grade become a winner on month, so send those box tops to school as you get them. They are on many items purchased at the grocery store. |

Welcome to the 5th Grade Math Site!
This website was designed as another way to help our 5th Grade students in math. As the school year progresses you will be able to download samples of class work and homework. This site will also include some of the events going on here County Line and in our math class.
Moving Through the Site:
- The Calender - If you look to the left of the site you will see a calendar that can be enlarged by clicking on the link below it. This will give a more detailed view of things listed on the calendar. This calendar will inlude reminders and events taking place throughout the month.
- Links - Located below the calendar is a section that displays link where you can view other helpful websites including the 5th grade Reading site and County Line's website.
- Message Box - At the bottom of the site is an area where you can send me a message via email. You can also add yourself to the email list by checking the small box below the message area.
Check here to find homework and class lessons. If you have Microsoft Word, or another word processing program, and a printer, you will be able to download and print the work from your own computer.

Below is a downloadable version of the arkansas frameworks for math in 5th grade. This will show you most of what your child will have learned by the end of the year in my math class.
We are working on the word respect this month with our students. We will be refering to respect throughtout the month and we will be expecting to see evidence of this from the students.
This section is connected to 2A. It has to be on if A is on and will be off if A is off.
