Welcome to our website
We are an official chartered chapter of the Red Hat Society, a “dis-organized” group of fun-loving ladies.
The Stamping and Scrapping Babes of Bella Vista was started on 11 May 2005 by Rachel Brumley, Queen Mum because it occurred that she wasn’t stamping and scrapbooking enough! And she wanted to meet women who enjoyed doing the same things she did.
The group meets at least once a month to celebrate life and each other – to laugh together and remind each other not to take life too seriously
Although a lot of our activities center on stamping and scrapbooking, we will be doing other fun things. We try to have a variety of activities so we will have some great pictures to scrapbook!
While most Red Hat Society members are over 50, we welcome junior members to join in the fun. They are affectionately called Pink Hatters and together we will celebrate the joys of aging gracefully and playfully.
The only requirement to join is that you must want to have outlandish fun, play dress-up, and laugh, laugh, laugh! Love of Stamping and Scrapbooking is not necessary for membership, but having fun certainly is. What is a requirement is stopping at every stamping and scrapbooking store when we are out and about. We are currently open for women of similar desires.

Inspired by the poem "Warning" by Jenny Joseph that begins "When I am an old woman, I shall wear purple with a red hat..." the Red Hat Society is a women's "disorganization" based on the concept that growing old can be fun and frivolous.
There's fun After 50...
The Red Hat Society was started as a group for women over 50 who enjoy dressing in purple outfits and red hats. Our younger sisters, who have yet to turn 50, are affectionately called Pink Hatters and dress in lavender outfits and pink hats. Together we celebrate the jos of aging gracefully -- and playfully.
