Military Honor Roll Care Package Program

Of all the things we Americans can do to support our men and women in uniform, the thing that seems to mean the most is to send them a piece of home.

Alley-White Unit 52 has partnered with our local Elks Lodge (#1714, Mountain Home) and our Post members to expand our Military Honor Roll care package program. This partnership has enabled us to send out an average of 10-15 boxes per month to deployed servicemen and women. We gladly accept mailing addresses for deployed children, grandchildren and other relatives, and also obtain names through websites such as AnySoldier.com.

Our "box-up" takes place the first Saturday of every month at the Legion Hall beginning at 9:30 am. Donations of items to include in the boxes (see list below) are always welcome, as are cash donations which will be used toward postage or the replenishment of snacks and other requested items.

We also include one or more Pocket Flags in each box, and cold-weather comfort items in the wintertime.
