General Meeting
January 15 2012

Pledge
Opening Prayer – Jim
Meeting called to order @ 0900 hours

New Business:

Rider Safety—when we ride in a group, we ride staggered formation. Never pass the person ahead of you to your right or left, you should be about 1 second behind this person and 2 seconds behind the person directly in front of you. The ride leader—Front of the group and to the Left will determine when it's safe to pass. Large Vans/vehicles need to be given extra room, don't follow too close...you can't see what's ahead of them. The Ride Captain or Lieutenant will have ride briefing before every ride. This will cover the route, stops and any special instructions. We are adding the MSF hand signals to our Welcome letter for new members.

Bike Night planning so we can resume in April. We will have committee type meetings of all interested in planning/helping.. and bring your ideas too. Let's start these meetings after the Holidays, say mid January? I'll send out the date and time as we get closer. Marilyn will be the ramrod with Bruce, Tink and Harold as the committee..

The Eboard has changed our By-Laws such that new members must be voted in and must attend a General Meeting to do so.
