RED HAT SOCIETY

"When I grow old, I shall wear purple, with a red hat that doesn't go and doesn't suit me....And make up for the sobriety of my youth". Thus starts the poem by Jenny Joseph.

The Red Hat Society was founded by Exalted Queen Mother Sue Ellen Cooper of Fullerton California, for women of a "certain demeanor" to meet aging head-on, with a sense of humor for where life takes us.
ENJOY THE RIDE

Red Hatters are 50 and older, while those under 50 are known as pink hatters or pinkies and wear a pink hat and lavender until their REDUATION at which time they may don their red hat and purple attire.

We are a dual city Chapter located in Phoenix & Tucson, AZ
