Jennifer

Jennifer Hinds, 17, a senior at Ironwood High School, died March 16, 1997 from injuries suffered March 10, 1997 in a crash caused by a redlight runner. Jennifer and 3 friends were hit at the intersection of 59th Ave and Sweetwater in Glendale, in front of the high school. "Jennifer's Law" was passed by the Arizona Legislature in 1998 to stiffen red light running penalties.




Krystal

Krystal Philippi, 17 was seriously injured on April 25, 1998 by a redlight runner, while on the way to her high school prom. She suffered traumatic brain injury and was in a coma for 10 weeks. Krystal continues her battle to recover.




Shaun

Shaun Doss and his family were hit by a redlight runner on May 15, 2007 at the intersection of Cooper and Germann in Gilbert, Az. Shaun suffered brain and internal injuries and is now confined to a wheel chair..




Kathy Cook & Lori Koidahl

Lori Koidahl's mother, Kathy Cook was waiting to cross a Seattle, WA street when a young man driving a work truck ran the redlight and collided with a front-loader. The truck careened into the pedestrians waiting to cross the street. Kathy Cook was killed instantly.



Nelson & Andrea

Father and daughter, Nelson & Andrea Taylor were hit by a redlight runner on Thanksgiving Day 2006 in Austin, TX. Nelson had picked up Andrea at college and they were returning home for Thanksgiving. They were both killed.



Anthony

Anthony Gaddy, 19, was killed on November 29, 1999 by a red light runner at the intersection of 33rd Ave and Bell Rd. Anthony was on his way to Flagstaff to visit his parents.



Katie & Blake

Katie Hodge and her 17 month old son Blake were hit by a red light runner on February 18, 2000 at the intersection of Cave Creek and Grovers. Katie suffered traumatic brain injury and was in a coma for a week. Blake died of his injuries.



Mary

Mary Napoleon, 43, wife and mother was killed by a redlight runner at 5:50am on April 26, 1983, at the intersection of 24th Street and Thomas in Phoenix. Mary was on her way to work.




Billy

Billy Canfield, 17, a Chandler High School senior died November 22, 2002. Billy survived eight open heart surgeries, to be killed by a red light runner at the intersection of Evergreen St. and Warner Rd. while on his school lunch break.




Lupe & Albert

Lupe Adril, 67, was killed by a red light runner on June 22, 1997 at the intersection of 27th Ave. and McDowell. Lupe and her husband Albert were returning from shopping for a new home.




Michael

Michael Allanson, 14, was hit by an 82 yr old red light runner on August 28, 2004 while crossing the street in a crosswalk at 64th St. and McKellips. Michael died of his injuries.




Sarah

Sarah Elizabeth Wintz, a 17 year old senior at Mountain Pointe High School in Phoenix, was killed by a red light runner on December 2, 2003 at the intersection of Pecos Road and 40th Street. Her boyfriend suffered traumatic brain injury and other serious injuries that have changed his life.
