About the State   ANAMBRA STATE Anambra State is one of the 36 states of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. The State was created in 1991 out of the old Anambra State which then had Enugu as the Capital. The Capital of Anambra State is Awka. Anambra State is made up of 23 Local Government Areas. It is a land of unity and joy. Hence, her motto: HOME FOR ALL

Pre-amble  This association was started on June 17th, 1998 at Ojo, Lagos State, Nigeria. It came up after a carefull study of the dilapidated state of the government infrastructures, poor condition of roads, lack of basic amenities, mismanagfement of government machineries, and the over-bearing influence of some selfish individuals who find themselves in the corridors of power thereby diverting the government attention from the proper need of the people. This association came up as a pressure group, to press for the need of the people and direct the government to its proper channel. This is not a militant group neither is militancy one of her approach to issues. No! We play advisory roles to the government while we help the government ward off thosr intricacies that disturb her from her lawful roles.

AIMS AND OBJECTIVES
1. To reintegrate every town and village into the political mainstream of the Country. 2. To create awareness of our political lapses and to ensure ways of bettering up. 3. To press for and ensure equitable distribution of the State resources and government recognition of every and remote village in the State. 4. To help the government create more impact on the generality of the indigenes both at home and abroad. 5. To reactivate the spirit of brotherliness among every Town and village in the State and to ensure ways of brokering peace and good neighbourliness among them. 6. To encourage the education of our young ones as against the over-zealous rush into trading which undermines our educational prowess and mars our future educational talents most needed for the growth of our society. 7. To foster the spirit of brotherliness, Unity, Hardwork, Honesty and Solidarity among members. 8. To provide a common forum for the indigenes of the State to discuss issues affecting the State and finding solutions thereto. 9. To promote peace and good conduct among the members. 10. To apply legal means to protect lives, properties and interests of our members in particular and the State in general.
