How Toastmasters Works

Members learn by speaking to groups and working with others in a supportive environment. An ideal Toastmasters club is made up of 20 to 30 people who meet once a week for about an hour. Each meeting gives everyone an opportunity to practice.

Toastmasters International Education Path

The educational program is the heart of a Toastmasters Club. It is the means through which you develop your communication and leadership skills and achieve your goal of becoming a better communicator. Above is a diagram of how you become a Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM), which is the highest award our organization bestows and it recognizes both communication and leadership skills.
