Our entrance is at the left rear of the east hangar. Park in our new lot and follow the signs.

WING'S LIBRARY IS LOCATED IN THE MUSEUM HANGAR

Our Museum Library is available for those who would like to do research in the aviation field, with emphasis on World War II aviation.
It is on the east end of the Museum Hangar.
The library includes books, manuals, magazines, videos and photos
We are most fortunate to have such a wonderful collection of aviation publications (thanks to many generous donors).
Visit the library and see some of the exhibits that are currently on display.

If having a birthday party for a family member; celebrating a significant anniversary; conducting a trade show; displaying model airplanes, or antique autos, or jazzed up motorcycles; putting on a musical show; having a nostalgic dinner with friends; or conducting a memorial service for a departed WWII veteran appeals to you in our very special setting among vestiges of World War II and with flying (and otherwise) specimens of WWII warbirds in the same "space," then we urge you to explore the possibilities by calling or e-mailing:

Dick Burrer Special Events Officer CAF - Southern California Wing 455 Aviation Drive Camarillo, CA 93010 Phone: (805) 444-8285 E-Mail: gatjohnston@aol.com

Here's Dick Burrer - at your service!

Dick will outline to you the benefits of having your special event at our WWII Aviation Museum Hangar. We have about 5,000 square feet of space where you can set up whatever table and seating arrangement you plan to have (up to a total of 250 people). We have a microphone and amp system for meetings, presentations, etc. Your event will have beautifully restored WWII airplanes, plus a museum of WWII artifacts surrounding you, creating an unforgettable nostalgic atmosphere.

We have plenty of CDs with songs of the 1930s, 1940s and 1950s to give an added measure of nostalgia (wouldn't that be great for a retirement party or a 50th anniversary?).

We also have a smaller, more intimate room where you can have a birthday party or special dinner.

We have a local caterer who can provide all the fine food and settings:

and a party supply firm that can fill all of your requirements:

Dick can review them with you and provide coordination for your event.

Please call Dick and he will arrange to have you meet him at the WWII Aviation Museum to go over the possibilities for your event.

To add a special flavor to your event, Dick can also arrange to have docents available to show your guests around our facility (for events that occur during the day).

We look forward to being of service to you in helping you plan your special event in our WWII Aviation Museum Hangar!

Hangar Schematic For Party - shows 24 tables @ 10 per table = 240 persons, with stage, dance floor, tables for awards, buffet, etc. Serving tent can be set up just outside the hangar doors, as in photo below.
