I hope you like my Site!Written by Chris Alvarez Nagashima Spaland Opens Record Breaking Steel Coaster Mie, Japan -- Nagashima Spaland proudly unveiled a new record breaking roller coaster called the Steel Dragon 2000 on August 1. The new steel hypercoaster the flagship attraction at the park is now the World's tallest, fastest and longest steel roller coaster. Steel Dragon 2000 stands an impressive 318-feet high, beating out Millennium Force at Cedar Point by eight feet. The ride begins with a 306-foot drop at 68 degrees to reach an amazing speed of 95 mph! The coaster designed and manufactured by Morgan Manufacturing of La Selva Beach, California features an "out and back" layout with 8,133 feet of track. From beginning to end the three and half-minute journey is non-stop extreme thrills.
