11/10/07 Dear Clan Members,
It was great to have our Southern California Chapter gathering in Irvine this year, a great time was had by all who attended. I wish to Thank all of our Armed Forces Members who are currently serving our great nation, Thank you once again.

3/13/06 Dear Clan Members,
The Clan MacMahon and it's fellow Dalcassian Clans Clan O'Brien, Clan Kennedy, along with our Scottish cousins participated in one of the largest Irish Fairs and Music Festivals held in the United States. The guest of Honor and Grand Marshal of this great event was our very own Chief of the Dalcassians The O'Brien, Prince of Thomond, the two day event was held at the Pomona Fair Plex, nestled in the hills of Pomona.

7/09/05 Dear Clan Members,
The Clan MacMahon (McMahon) Association has chosen the solid kilt color F.O.S. Blue this is an Azure Blue color, and is a typical color found in our region of Thomond (County Clare) this is the same color the piper is wearing above, however we wear the solid color white kilt hose with red flashers, and wear the O'Brien family tartan fly over the shoulder to show are decent from our Royal line. We will be giving the name of the supplier soon so you may order.

The Clan MacMahon (McMahon) Association has been formally registered with the Clans Of Ireland Ltd. who are charged by the Irish Government for keeping and recording of the clans registry in Ireland.

07/11/04 Dear Clan Members, A heads up for Dalcassian Clans and members. Check the Festival section for a list of festivals in your area. Clans can get together at these festivals and have a great time. A festival of note, the Long's Peak Scottish and Irish Festival at Estes Park, Colorado will be attended by two Irish Clans this year on Sept 9-12. Clan O'Hannon and Clan O'Brien will have a Clan tent there for any and all Dalcassian members to stop by and visit. This is one of the largest festivals in the country. Because of planning and travel, notice is given now for people to plan on attending. Check the Festival page for other festivals attended by Clan O'Hannon and Clan O'Brien.

05/20/04 Dear Clan Members, The Third annual Memorial Day Party at the O'Brien Family Vineyard being held in Napa, California on May 30, is being advertised by Clan Cian on their website as a joint event between Clan Cian and O'Brien Family Vineyards. This is a false advertisement! Clan Cian has no connection to this event hosted by the O'Brien Family Vineyard. For further information and directions about the event see our advertisement here.
There is also talk about camping at this event. There will be NO CAMPING at this event. The O'Brien Family Vineyard has no facilities for camping and is an established winery and camping is not allowed.
All our Dalcassian cousins are invited to attend.

01/06/04 I Have Received information That the Dalcassian Crest badge Will No Longer Be Available, Or Be A Recognized Symbol Of The Dalcassian Clan. There will be hopefully a new Dalcassian Symbol we will use in the future.

12/26/03 The Dalcassian Clan Announced That It Would No Longer Be Represented Under The Banner Of Clan Cian, Each Of The Clans/Families Would Represent Themselves Through A Dalcassian Clan Council.
