EVERY MONDAY , Clearlake - A group of local artists meets
from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays at the Highlands Senior Center
in Clearlake in order to paint together and to offer
each other critiques and suggestions.
Members range from beginners to advanced artists,
and new artists are welcome to attend. For more information,

EVERY MONDAY - LUCERNE - Films are shown at 6pm, every Monday, ($5 tickets or $3 for seniors). Women's lives are central to each of the films being shown. WEDNESDAYS - EVERY SECOND WEDNESDAY EACH MONTH - Lake County Writers meet from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. or 4 p.m. on the second Wednesday of each month at the Lower Lake Historic Schoolhouse Museum. The group welcomes interested writers of all levels and genres.

FIRST AND THIRD WEDNESDAYS - A writing class meets from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on the first and third Wednesday of each month at the Middletown Senior Center, 15299 Central Park Road. This is an informal group of people who are interested in writing, sharing their work and learning writing techniques from each other. All writing styles are encouraged: biography, genealogy, etc.

This is your chance to talk about the newspaper, the south county community or whatever else is on your mind in an informal setting, and you're only "on the record" if you want to be.
