May we Celebrate with You? Come on by, introduce yourself, and join the festivities! Watch experienced speakers do their thing, and see new speakers learn how in a friendly, non-threatening atmosphere. May is flying by fast, so if you've been promising to implement one of your best New Years resolutions, well, maybe it's time you leaped into action to build your confidence, speaking skills, and leadership skills. Or maybe you just want to be entertained. Either way, please do join us at our fun get-togethers! It's NEVER too late to decide to become a better communicator! Like, June 25th maybe? Or soon it'll be July! (OK, the 9th and 23rd.) It's an old saying that when the student is ready, the teacher will appear. Well, we've already made our appearance; come on along! It's fun! |

Come Visit OUAT! The Excitement Mounts! We are a Select Distinguished Club, and at Charter Strength!
OUAT is part of Toastmaster's Division “D”, which has achieved "President's Distinguished" status - the highest possible for a division.
Meetings consist of an evening of entertainment, speeches, story telling, food, and fun.
And maybe a surprise or two!
Guests are always welcome.
Toastmasters Club 192 meets at 1140 West La Veta at 7:00PM.
Our next meeting is Thursday, July 9th!

Along with our new inductees, we also welcomed two new members, Emily and Damian! With these members, we have again arrived at 20 members: "Charter Strength!" Stay tuned!
Who Are We?
Toastmasters International Club 192, Orange Upon A Time (OUAT) has been teaching communication and leadership skills since 1964.
Our mission is to help members become better speakers and leaders by using the art of storytelling in their speeches.
As a specialty club the only difference between us and other clubs is that we like to get our message across by telling short stories in our speeches; however, that is each speaker's choice.
Guests Are Always Welcome
Guest are always welcome at our meetings to learn about what toastmasters has to offer. And if you choose, you are welcome to join us. Our members will be more than happy to answer any questions you may have about the organization and how to join.
Benefits of Joining
Increase your self-esteem and confidence through active participation in your own personal development. You will improve your speaking, listening, thinking, and leadership skills. You will discover your hidden abilities and bring your latent talents into use. And you'll also get an expanded vision of the role of communication in your life that can boost your personal success.
The purpose of Toastmasters is to help members overcome apprehensions about speaking in public and to improve communication skills. This goal is accomplished by providing a self-paced, focused speaking program and a friendly, mutually supportive, experienced group of people to help you. You can become more effective in formal public speaking, individual communications, impromptu situations, meeting management and participation, and also in the exercise of leadership skills.

Membership
The cost - A mere $27 for Toastmaster International dues, a paltry $6 for club dues, and a one time only initial fee of $20 plus CA tax, which pays for all your initial materials.

more detail so you can better see the benefits of membership (enjoy!), and a

We believe that our club is the perfect match for busy people who may not be able to meet every week, but still want all the benefits that a Toastmasters club can provide: Confidence! Self Esteem! Personal Growth! Communication Skills! Leadership Skills! Plus Fun and Fellowship!
