Vision

“The Press is free to those who own one” Henry Mencken

The Truth is WE OWN TELEVISION STATIONS RIGHT IN OUR OWN COMMUNITIES, and many of us have cameras, computers, and healthy curiosity about what we are not being told by the mainstream media.

Cable companies (Time-Warner, Cox, and Adelphia to name a few) are required to maintain community access channels in their broadcast regions to air programs of local interest. Although these channels have often been associated with less than the best, we can't let that stop us from producing and broadcasting material with substance. These stations all require local participation to fulfill their mandate and many offer production training. The potential audience is anyone with access to cable TV. The potential producers are you and me. Our vision is

To develop a “network” of community organizations that share programs developed by the community in response to the community's needs.

To explore questions with only one agenda – to raise the level of public understanding around issues that affect our lives, the lives of our neighbors, our country, and our world.
