We are the Dragon patrol!

Webelos 2 is the second year of a two-year transition program from Cub Scouts to Boy Scouts.

During these two years, the Webelos Scouts can earn two badges of rank and 20 activity badges. The two ranks are the Webelos badge and the Arrow of Light award. Usually the boys earn the Webelos badge during the first year and the Arrow of Light during the second year. It is possible for a boy who joins scouting at the start of fifth grade to earn both his Webelos badge and his Arrow of Light award before it is time to graduate into a Boy Scout troop, but it takes a lot of planning and effort to accomplish this.

Instead of working on electives, each Webelos Scout works to complete a series of hobby and career Activity Badges. The emphasis shifts from home-centered activities to a series of group-centered activities conducted by the Webelos den.

Our Den Leaders are Keith Campbell and Joe Concialdi. Our den meetings are the first and third Thursdays of the month.

August 18 Planning meeting, 7:00, The Heights apartment complex, 16675 Slate Dr. All parents are encouraged to come help plan the pack's activities for the year.
August 25 visit to Boy Scout Troop 316.
September 15 BRAIN FREEZE recruiting event. Bring your friends and show them what Scouting is all about! 7:00 p.m., Butterfield Ranch Elementary. This is our September pack meeting.
September 19 Chino Hills Day at the LA County Fair. Our pack will march in the parade.
September 26-28 family camping trip at the Sheriff's Stampede.
