Mrs. Donaghho, Molly and Peanut
I began my teaching career in 1984. I spent 8 years in 6th grade before I decided that I'd like to try other grade levels. I've had experience teaching 7th grade, 5th grade, 3rd grade, 1st grade and kindergarten. I've spent the past thirteen years teaching first grade and have loved every minute of it. I hold a Multiple Subjects California teaching credential and have a Masters of Education in reading.
First graders are full of joy, curiosity and enthusiasm for learning. The children come in as little caterpillars and leave as blooming butterflies. It is most rewarding to be a part of this incredible year of growth and learning.
I am married with a grown son. I spend a lot of time with my four wonderful dogs, Molly, Roxie, Bella and Gizmo. Besides teaching, I have a passion for cooking. I cook when I'm stressed, happy, or just feel like experimenting.
My faith is a huge part of my life. My goal is that each and every child will come to know Christ as their friend and guide. I want the children to understand how much God loves them and how unique and special they are.
