Enjoy San Diego by land and sea! You'll begin the day with a morning train ride to "America's Finest City!" San Diego is always in season and this is a great year to discover all she has to offer! You will be transferred from your pick up point "Chatsworth" to the Amtrak station in Fullerton to catch the southbound train to San Diego. This two-hour rail adventure will take you through San Juan Capistrano, San Clemente, Oceanside and Del Mar as you journey along the spectacular Pacific coast to San Diego. Upon arrival, your motor coach will be waiting to transfer you to Old Town San Diego for lunch on your own and shopping. Step back in time to a colourful world of fun and entertainment in beautiful Historic Old Town San Diego, where the first Europeans settled. Around every corner more history awaits you. The finest shops are within easy walking distance with free live entertainment, mariachis, dancers, period attire docents providing tours and more. Old Town San Diego is nestled in heart of San Diego, with more than 150 shops and award-winning restaurants. Later in the afternoon, you'll come aboard one of Hornblower's comfortable yachts for an hour long cruise in San Diego Harbour. Get ready to enjoy the signs and sounds of the magnificent San Diego Bay. The Big Bay, as locals call San Diego Bay, boasts some of America's ,most historic warships such as the U.S.S. Ronald Reagan and the U.S.S. Midway as well as playing host to the scenic sights of the Coronado Bay Bridge and Seaport Village to name just a few! Throughout your cruise, professional crew members narrate the rich history, local points of interest and facts about San Diego landmarks and military.
