You’ll feel as though you’ve dropped anchor off the Hawaiian Islands as you dine amidst cascading waterfalls sculptured ponds and lush tropical foliage inside Peohe’s Restaurant. From a three course luncheon, a spectacular panoramic view of the San Diego skyline and the finale to this gourmet luncheon is a dish of Peohe’s special lava ice sorbet. 90 MINUTE GUIDED TOUR OF INSIDE THE HOTEL DEL CORONADO The Hotel Coronado, located just outside San Diego, has a ghostly tale of unrequited love. In 1892, Kate Morgan checked into Room 3502 to meet her estranged husband for the Thanksgiving holidays. He never arrived. A few days later, Kate's body was found on the hotel steps leading out to the ocean. Ever since that time, workers and guests have been puzzled by odd noises, spirited breezes, strange faces and the ghostly figure of a young lady wearing a black lace dress… KEEP YOUR EYES OPEN….. ![]() Chocolate Anyone, Hmmmm!!!! Welcome to the place where there is fun after fifty (and before) for women of all walks of life. We believe silliness is the comedy relief of life and, since we are all in it together, we might as well join red-gloved hands and go for the gusto together. Learn more about the Red Hat Society We Enjoy - - We love life, fun and laughter. We wholeheartedly embrace the notion that life cannot be taken so seriously that we can't laugh at ourselves and at each other. As young girls we wore hats, high heels and gloves because it was the norm. Today we wear them as a means of identifying ourselves as members of a fast-growing sisterhood. A woman of 50 or over, and attend social functions in full Red Hat Society regalia, (red hat, purple outfit and maybe a boa for emphasis of who you are). You might find your first red hat at an antique shop, a yard sale, a grandmother's attic... or make it. Also, for added frivolity, add a beautiful purple outfit and top it off with a red or purple boa! And for those who haven't reached age 50 yet. . . .all you Red Hat Society wannabees wear pink hats and lavender outfits until they reach the ripe age of 50! We will all celebrate with them as they enter into this right of passage. Imagine looking forward to your 50th birthday! ![]() RED HAT SOCIETY CHAPTER 30007
