| Origin, History, and Purpose
The Fullerton Interfaith Ministerial Association was organized over 30 years ago by local clergy who wanted to work together for the betterment of their community. Over the years, they dedicated themselves to helping others by creating Fullerton Interfaith Emergency Service and other organizations which have now become independent of FIMA. FIMA was rejuvenated in 2000 with new leadership and a new vision for the future. Along with providing our members with opportunities for friendship, fellowship, and collegeality, our main focus is to offer several interfaith worship opportunities to the greater Fullerton community throughout the year. These include the National Day of Prayer, an Interfaith Thanksgiving Service, and a Longest Night Service. FIMA is also the sponsoring organization for the annual Fullerton CROP Hunger Walk held every year in April. We also participate in the annual Faces of Fullerton event. We welcome all elligible clergy/lay leaders and organizations to join us! Please contact any of our officers for information. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
