Dixon is our newest Competent Communicator. When her award and Ruth Kimble's award are processed by Toastmasters International, we will have another Distinguished Club point. On January 14th Quinn Gray , visited and joined. She has already brought two guests to the meeting. Today she brought William Manning to the meeting. Seventy-four people have visited since August!

Our meetings are open to the public. You are welcome to attend if you are 18 or over. We are now 14 members strong. We are a DISTINGUISHED CLUB Fontana Leaders is becoming a great source for networking with local businesspersons.

Elections for officer's thrugh June 30, 2010, were held Thursday, June 18th. David Pulido, Paulette Carter, Letty Herndon, and Jerry Weitzman will remain in their positions as President, Educational Vice President, Secretary, and VP of Public Relations. Christine Ferrera was chosen as Treasurer and Assistant Public Relations Vice President.

The Fontana Leaders Toastmasters Club 943249 goal is, "To Maximize Your Potential." Experienced professionals and beginning speakers alike will benefit from our practical, face-to-face, hands-on learning program. Whether you're speaking to the board of directors, your customers, or your children, the Fontana Leaders, a weekly club, will help you do it better. You will learn and develop your speaking skills with people who are there for the same reason you are...to become better communicators.

The Fontana Leaders Toastmasters Club provides its members tools to develop and improve their public speaking and leadership abilities in a friendly, comfortable and supportive environment. Most importantly, we love to have a GREAT TIME! You will learn by how to conduct meetings, give impromptu speeches, present prepared speeches, and offer constructive evaluations in a supportive environment. You also have the opportunity to learn through conferences, training seminars, and participate in speech contests. You determine how far you want to go and how soon you want to get there.

The Mission of the Club is to provide a mutually supportive and positive learning environment in which every member has the opportunity to develop communication and leadership skills, which in turn foster self-confidence and personal growth.
