A small group of square dancers from the now extinct Inglewood Bachelors & Bachelorettes, got together on February 17, 1986 for the purpose of starting a new square dance club. They gave a trial dance in the month of March at the Inglewood Veteran's Memorial Building. The dance was very successful. It was decided that the club's name would be "Inglewood Guys & Dolls" and it would be a mainstream club. Their next dance was June 21, 1986, and the officers decided to make June their anniversary month. The club will celebrate its 20th anniversary in June 2006. The club's colors are dusty rose and burgundy. The club has approximately 106 members and the level of dance is now rated at the "Plus Level" but beginning dancers and mainstream dancers are welcome. The club has a reputation of being a very friendly club where you can go to dance and have fun.
