What does PTO do?

Jamestown PTO supports the students, parents and staff of Jamestown School by funding activities for students such as field trip transportation and by sponsoring family-oriented fun events. Be sure to watch our Calendar!

Each fall, PTO holds a fall fundraiser; this year, we will be selling Little Caesars Pizza Kits. Look for packets towards the end of September.

Scholastic Book Fairs are the perfect place to purchase age-appropriate books for all grade levels.

Harvest Festival is the highlight of fall! Costumes, games, foods and FUN!! Held at the end of October on school grounds.

Box Tops for Education are easy to find and collect. They are on many products that we all buy! The PTO gets 10 cents for each one we send in to use for funding events for the students, and they add up fast! We made over $250 last year. Red Ribbon Week, Kinder Registration and Citizenship Reward Parties. PTO provides personnel and financial support for these activities throughout the year.

Staff Appreciation Week is set aside in May to honor our staff. This is a fun week for us to recognize the importance of our staff members in our children's education.

Family Event Nights are held throughout the school year. These events are fun and usually free.
