FOR THOSE WHO WANT TO DRIVE THEIR CARS, there is parking available at the Pier. For those who want to take the ferry out of Vallejo, it is $15 per person, round trip.

This event should be LOTS of fun, and we will have ample time to explore the city after our cruise or just have a few beers in the pub and wait for the wives to get back.

Possible Joint Event At This Year's Doo Dah Parade 2005 - Hokey Smokes Bullwinkle! Ok you heard it here first from the Hard Hat Brotherhood national... I just received an email from Sue Ellen Cooper yesterday where she mentioned that she was interested in the Doo Dah Parade from November 2004 and was bummed that she missed it. She really liked the photos of Crew #21, Miner Problem and their wives. Sue Ellen then suggested if we were going to be there to start some plans for the Red Hat Society and the Hard Hat Brotherhood and make a significant showing in 2005! It would be an absolute blast if we can get as many HHBrotherhood members as we can to show up for this!!! The parade is November 20th and in Pasadena, CA. Obviously much has to be worked out but this is HUGE! Details to follow but block off the weekend of November 20th because the Hard Hat Brotherhood, our Red Hat wives and a good chunk of the RHS are going to paint Pasadena, red, purple, construction orange and yellow!!! Let me know if you are interested in going so I can see if you are as pumped about this as I am. Note the main web page will have an area to register soon!

A Guy's Perspective
I do not know, I can't understand, What makes us go crazy from your simple demands? It appears so innocent, such a simple request, To pick up some tampons and a soap bar of Zest. Nothing can deflate a big ego or bring on a sweat, Like holding your purse while you shop with Annette. The fault is not ours with all the tension and stress, We know how to answer, "How do I look in this dress?" Yet you keep up the argument, "Does this make me look fat?" And we think to ourselves, "No, it's your cute tushie which does that." Though the worst to endure is to just sit here and wait, You were just dropped off at an all ladies play date. Oh to be golfing or fishing and a barbeque too, We wish there was something, anything, that all of us could do. Next time will be different, next time I won't stew, Next time I drop off my lady, I will do something with my 'Crew'. Long Live The Hard Hat Brotherhood!
