Welcome to the home of the TASHL Los Angeles Kings.

The Kings are 1-10-0-1 in their past ten games and lots of talks about Sidney Crosby are imminent in the dressing room.

Kings acquire Nick Lidström and Darren McCarty  in a trade which sent veterans Ian Laperriere, Trent Klatt and Lubomir Visnovsky along with prospect Konstantin Pushkaryov to the Red Wings. "It was very hard to move Lubomir but we feel we really upgraded in bringing Darren and Nicklas to the club. We want Darren to be our leader and thats all we were thinking about when we inquired for him and named him captain shortly after he arrived in California. Nicklas' role will be to help develop our young defensive core while playing alongside fellow veteran Aaron Miller." General Manager Andrew Joseph.

Kings get starting goalie
in 22 year old Maxime Ouellet who came in a deal which sent the Kings' 2nd round pick in 2005 to Washington while LA also acquired a 5th in 2005. "Maxime fits into our plans very nicely. We want him to be our starter for the season." - GM Andrew Joseph
Cechmanek still rumoured to be traded
on a side note from the trade which brought Ouellet to the Kings, Cechmanek is still looking for a place to stay. "It's very frustrating because I dont know my position and role in this club right now." - Roman Cechmanek "We have so many able goalies. One or two must go. Conklin or Cechmanek are both very good goalies and Labarbera is still young and good but he is only a backup to Stefan Liv on the farm." -GM Andrew Joseph

Eaves acquired for Norström
in a swap between Pittsburgh and Los Angeles. "We weren't very happy with moving Norström and we thought we couldve gotten more but the chance to acquire Ben Eaves was too attractive. We needed a good center to play for us this year on the road to rebuilding and Ben Eaves fits the bill perfectly." Andrew Joseph said. Indeed he does. In his first 2 games with the Kings, Eaves got 3 points and was the better player on the ice for the Kings. "He's a very smart player. Prefers to pass the puck instead of shooting which isnt good because he has a great shot but he is certainly a good team player." - Ty Conklin.
