We are Lathrop School's PTC. PTC stands for Parent Teacher Club. Our job is to serve as the coordinator for school fundraising activities, to provide the school with monetary support and to provide the school administration and teachers with parental support when necessary. You will find EVERYTHING relating to PTC on this site, plus some helpful links to other sites. We're planning some GREAT family themed events for the 2010-2011 school year. We're looking forward to a GREAT year and hope to see you around :)

WELCOME NEW MEMBERS!!! The meeting schedule for the 2010/2011 school year is as follows 9/13, 10/11, 11/8, 1/10, 2/14, and 5/9 all meeting are scheduled to be held at 7:00 in the Schools Cafeteria. The 2/14 meeting will be the meeting date set for the final vote on the measure of Lathrop Elementary School adopting Common Dress & Wavered Dress Codes. To find out more about Common & Wavered Dress Codes please join us at our PTC meeting (or TLC meeting) and look for information being sent home with your children.

PARENT AMBASSADOR PROGRAM!!

We are looking for parents who would like to be part of our new “PTC Parent Ambassador Program”. Members of the Parent Ambassador Program will attend monthly PTC meetings and help plan and coordinate PTC related events, as well as serve as an extra form of communication between their child’s classroom and PTC. If you are interested in becoming the Parent Ambassador for your child’s classroom, please come to our PTC/TLC meetings. Thank you in advance for your willingness to help.

Lathrop School participates in the Box Tops 4 Education program and the Campbell's Labels for Education program, so PLEASE save those box tops and soup labels and turn them in to your child's teacher. These are normal every day products that you buy at the grocery store and with just a little snip of the scissor, you earn money for the school. (for an updated list of participating products see the related links section on the left side of this page).
