NEWS The coming holidays means it's time for our fundraising Craft Fair/Bazaar! Join us at Jenny's on Nov. 13, from 10 AM-2 PM, and choose from a selection of handmade items--baked goods, kids outfits, scarves, hats, Christmas decorations, fabric, pet outfits, quilts for sale & raffle, and our brand new cookbook (with recipes from our Blanketeers) will be for sale. Our cookbook is chock-full of recipes from our very own Blanketeers. Buying a cookbook will help support Project Linus' work and bring you lots of new recipes to try. If you'd like to order one or more copies, please complete our order form. The cookbooks can be picked up at Jenny's; if you'd like them shipped to you, please contact Jenny for more information. The following is a list of some of the organizations who receive our blankets. In addition, we give directly to children in our community and others. For example, please see those listed in our May 2005 and January 2006 newsletter. As you can see, the need is great, so if you have some time, materials, and know-how, please consider making a blanket. Consider, too, teaching your kids to knit or crochet, or encourage them to make some of the no-sewing-required fleece blankets. Making blankets can be great class and club projects, too.
