Who is the Messiah Does knowing who is Israyl? Tell us who the Messiah is? At first the question may sound a little silly. But it's not!!!Let's begin our journey with the covenant. First you need to know the correct translation of the word ber-eeth [ 1285 ]. translated covenant. It means a cutting, which becomes clear in the following text. Genesis:15 9. And Yahweh said unto him, Take me an heifer of three years old, and a she goat of three years old, and a ram of three years old, and a turtledove, and a young pigeon. 10. And he took unto him all these, and divided them in the midst, and laid each piece one against another: but the birds divided he not. 11. And when the fowls came down upon the carcases, Abram drove them away. 12. And when the sun was going down, a deep sleep fell upon Abram; and, lo, an horror of great darkness fell upon him. 17. And it came to pass, that, when the sun went down, and it was dark, behold a smoking furnace, and a burning lamp that passed between those pieces. 18. In the same day Yahweh made a covenant with Abram, saying, Unto thy seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates: A covenant was made by killing animals, and cutting them in half, then putting the left half on the left, and the right half on the right, with a path in the middle, and literally entering into a cutting. But Yahweh would not allow Abram to pass through, causing a sleep to come over him. Yahweh took full responsiblity for both sides of the covenant. Because He knew that Israyl would break it. Now this covenant usually called a land covenant, was really a marriage contract. The land of Israyl there home, Yahweh the husband, Israyl the bride. In the following verses I am changing man to Yahweh, and wife to Israyl to make my point. Deuteronomy 24 1. When Yahweh hath taken a wife, and married her, and it come to pass that Israyl find no favour in his eyes, because He hath found some uncleanness in her: then let Yahweh write her a bill of divorcement, and give it in her hand, and send Israyl out of his house. 2. And when she is departed out of his house, she may go and be another man's wife. 3. And if the latter husband hate her, and write her a bill of divorcement, and giveth it in her hand, and sendeth her out of his house; or if the latter husband die, which took her to be his wife; 4. Her former husband, which sent her away, may not take her again to be his wife, after that she is defiled; for that is abomination before Yahweh: and thou shalt not cause the land to sin, which Yahweh thy God giveth thee for an inheritance. Bottom line These are Yahwehs laws, He expects man to keep them. Yahweh would never expect man to do something He wouldn't do. He keeps His own LAWS. Also remember if your divorced you must leave the house. Or in this case the land, and you can't come back. Now to the matter of Israyl. 1 Kings 11 29. And it came to pass at that time when Jeroboam went out of Jerusalem, that the prophet Ahijah the Shilonite found him in the way; and he had clad himself with a new garment; and they two were alone in the field: 30. And Ahijah caught the new garment that was on him, and rent it in twelve pieces: 31. And he said to Jeroboam, Take thee ten pieces: for thus saith Yahweh, the God of Israel, Behold, I will rend the kingdom out of the hand of Solomon, and will give ten tribes to thee: 32. (But he shall have one tribe for my servant David's sake, and for Jerusalem's sake, the city which I have chosen out of all the tribes of Israel:) This is the prophecy concerning the dividing of Israyl. For Davids sake, the Messiah. The point is this. Israyl is now two nations, Israyl to the north, Judah to the south. The two Houses Ezekiel 4 4. Lie thou also upon thy left side, and lay the iniquity of the house of Israel upon it: according to the number of the days that thou shalt lie upon it thou shalt bear their iniquity. 5. For I have laid upon thee the years of their iniquity, according to the number of the days, three hundred and ninety days: so shalt thou bear the iniquity of the house of Israel. 6. And when thou hast accomplished them, lie again on thy right side, and thou shalt bear the iniquity of the house of Judah forty days: I have appointed thee each day for a year. Jeremiah 3 6. Then Yahweh said also unto me in the days of Josiah the king, Hast thou seen that which backsliding Israyl hath done? she is gone up upon every high mountain and under every green tree, and there hath played the harlot. 7. And I said after she had done all these things, Turn thou unto me. But she returned not. And her treacherous sister Judah saw it. 8. And I saw, when for all the causes whereby backsliding Israyl committed adultery I had put her away, and given her a bill of Divorce; yet her treacherous sister Judah feared not, but went and played the harlot also. 9. And it came to pass through the lightness of her whoredom, that she defiled the land, and committed adultery with stones and with stocks. 10. And yet for all this her treacherous sister Judah hath not turned unto me with her whole heart, but feignedly, saith Yahweh. 11. And Yahweh said unto me, The backsliding Israyl hath justified herself more than treacherous Judah. Yahweh has divorced Israyl and kept Judah. Israyl must leave the land and can never come back. Lets check the Hebrew. The first time the word Jew or Jews is mentioned is here IN THE FOLLOWING TEXT. . The Hebrew word for Jew is Yudah, or Jews is Yadam, in other words a Jew is from the House of Judah, not Israyl. 2 Kings 16 1. In the seventeenth year of Pekah the son of Remaliah Ahaz the son of Jotham king of Judah began to reign. 2. Twenty years old was Ahaz when he began to reign, and reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem, and did not that which was right in the sight of Yahweh his God, like David his father. 3. But he walked in the way of the kings of Israyl, yea, and made his son to pass through the fire, according to the abominations of the heathen, whom Yahweh cast out from before the children of Israyl. 4. And he sacrificed and burnt incense in the high places, and on the hills, and under every green tree. 5. Then Rezin king of Syria and Pekah son of Remaliah king of Israyl came up to Jerusalem to war: and they besieged Ahaz, but could not overcome him. 6. At that time Rezin king of Syria recovered Elath to Syria, and drave the Jews [3064] from Elath: and the Syrians came to Elath, and dwelt there unto this day. The first time the name Jew is mentioned in the Bible they are at war with Israyl. Now you might say this is old testament, well it's not. I'm going to insert Yahweh and Israyl into the text to make my point. Romans 7 1. Know ye not, brethren, (for I speak to them that know the law,) how that the law hath dominion over a man as long as he liveth? 2. For Israyl which hath an husband is bound by the law to Yahweh so long as He liveth; [ remember the covenant ] but if Yahweh be dead, Israyl is loosed from the law of her husband. 3. So then if, while Yahweh liveth, Israyl be married to another man, Israyl shall be called an adulteress: but if her husband be dead, she is free from that law; so that she is no adulteress, though she be married to another man. Think about this, Yahweh divorced Israyl 2500 years ago, but kept Judah, the Jews; even though backsliding Israyl hath justified herself more than treacherous Judah. Why? Why not divorce the Jews as well, Because of His promise to King David. He will use a Jew to save Israyl. Remember Yahweh took the covenant too Himself, He took both sides of the covenant upon Himself, not allowing Abram to take part. Check this out. We know there is two houses now. The House of Israyl [ divorced ]. The House of Judah His wife. That is why the Jews are in the promise land and not Israyl, after all you can't have your divorced wife living with you can you? Divorced Israyl is not in the land of Israyl, only the Jews. Lets see what Yahshua [ Jesus ] has to say. Matthew:10 5. These twelve Yahshua sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not: 6. But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. WOW what did He say, not gentile, not the House of Judah, but the lost House of Israyl? WHY? Because they are divorced, they are lost. Unless of course Yahweh dies freeing Israyl from the law. But can that happen? I believe it did. Yahshua was to redeem that which was lost, His bride Israyl, remember the covenant? Matthew:1 22. Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of Yahweh by the prophet, saying, 23. Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us. God? God with us? Who is God? but Yahweh Lets think about this. Yahweh made a covenant with Abram, Isaac , Jacob, Israyl!! He took on both sides of the contract. The covenant is to the death, remember? That means that if Israyl fails, Yahweh pays the price. That means that Yahweh became a man [ mortal ] in Yahshua the Messiah. Being sacrificed, to redeem that which was lost, His bride. And the wedding feast spoken of by John in the book of Revelation, is that remarriage, Yahweh taking back His bride, his Love. Remember the covenant? But where is Israyl today? Since Israyl can't be living at home with Yahweh [ in the land of Israyl ] since she is divorced, that wouldn't be right, or legal. But after the Marriage, the Jews and Israyl well be back together, along with a lot of believers. Lets read Jeremiah 3 16. And it shall come to pass, when ye be multiplied and increased in the land, in those days, saith Yahweh, they shall say no more, The ark of the covenant of Yahweh: neither shall it come to mind: neither shall they remember it; neither shall they visit it; neither shall that be done any more. 17. At that time they shall call Jerusalem the throne of Yahweh; and all the nations shall be gathered unto it, to the name of Yahweh, to Jerusalem: neither shall they walk any more after the imagination of their evil heart. 18. In those days the house of Judah shall walk with the house of Israel, and they shall come together out of the land of the north to the land that I have given for an inheritance unto your fathers. Revelation 19 6. And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Praise Yahweh: for Yahweh God omnipotent reigneth. 7. Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to Yahweh: for the marriage of Yahshua is come, and Israyl hath made herself ready. Yahshua is Yahweh Yes the Bible is perfect in ways people are not even aware of. It's not that surprising though, since few even know His name. Study by BooneDog 05/19/00 |
