Welcome to the official Las Plumas NJROTC Web Site
The purpose of NJROTC is to develop informed, and responsible citizens through a military setting. By weekly uniform inspections, military drill, and physical training, we develop cadets with discipline, dedication, and a pride unmatched by other school activities. Through advancement opportunities and service in leadership positions, cadets learn leadership, followership, and above all teamwork. Cadets who are on the competitive teams have the chance to sharpen their teamwork skills, develop lasting friendships and work in a highly competitive but still friendly environment. --LP NJROTC Commanding Officer c/LCDR Samantha Powell--
Cadets, please learn your 11 general orders to the sentry as well as your chain of command. We will be going over these in class so study them. We Will be having a PRT on Friday 12/19/2007. If you qualify, you may be able to earn a spot to go to BLT. And keep in mind Unit goals and Visions.
Monday-PT Team, Rifle Team
Tuesday- Drill Team and Color Guard after school and Academic Team @ Lunch
Wednesday-PT Team, Rifle Team, Fife & drum corps
Thursday-Staff Meeting @ Lunch and Drill Team and Color Guard after school
Friday-Drill Team, Color Guard, and Drum and Fife Corps
Note-Drill Team is seeking new people to join. It's lots of fun!! Go check it out!!
Drum and Fife Corps is always looking for some new musicians! If you do not know how to play an instrument, we can teach you! Hope to see you there!
