New Parents' Page "I want my son to be a cub scout! What does it cost? Where do I get a uniform?" These are the first questions we hear from new parents as they start their scouting adventure with their kids. The cost is minimal - only $35 per year. If you join in October, you pay for October through December of the following year. The next expense is the uniform. You can expect the uniform to last two years as the boys grow. Try to buy a uniform with room for growth! On the home page of this website, scroll down to the bottom and you'll see three places where you can purchase uniforms. To find out the cost, give either of the shops a call, or check out the online ordering page. You will need the uniform, hat, neckerchief, council shoulder patch, 166 numerals, and the World Crest Patch. The scout shop you visit will be able to help you with these. |
