Dear Loved One,

Easter Sunday and the weeks preceding it speak of resurrection, which simply means a rising up again, a coming forth of our own higher consciousness to the manifestation of the Christ Being in this physical form. It is an awakening of our true potential and the realization of the truth of our Divinity, an awakening to our own inner beauty, our radiant being and our own intrinsic worth. It is a complete unfolding of the God child existent in us, as us!

The Master Jesus told us during his ministry that each of us is made in the image and likeness of God and, that in this state, we are capable of anything and everything that a child of God is entitled to here on this planet earth. The kingdom of heaven is our individual responsibility. If we are to experience this kingdom that Jesus spoke of, it is necessary that we bring that kingdom to our present state. What is required of us is that we be the transforming element and the connecting link in the creative process.

Easter is a celebration of the resurrection of humankind and all the possibilities inherent in that. We can all, in any moment that we choose, arise to the state of the Christ consciousness, the crystal clear awareness the Master spoke of when he said: "The Father and I are one." And he added: "the works that I do you shall do also, and greater works than these shall you do." He gave us in that statement a promise and a challenge. Let us accept both.

I wish you a happy Easter, and al the abundance, peace, happiness, joy and love that you wish to experience. I also make one request of you this year, that you join us for our Easter Sunday service at 11:00 am. We have a wonderful service prepared for you, and I would love to see every one of you here for that celebration.

Much love and blessings,

Rev. Charles D. Rose

"O' Lord give me one more thing, a heart replete with Thankfulness."

This was the prayer of long ago, yet it is as modern as the very moment we speak the words. Gratitude for all that we have is the means of creating a greater receptivity for all that we desire. Thanksgiving for all that we have surmounts all seeming lack and limitation, regardless of appearances. Our hearts and minds are opened to the Source of our supply, they turn toward the greater goodness yet to be experienced.

This, in turn, brings the new ideas, the expectancy, the acceptance. Being thankful for what we have does not mean accepting limitation. It means knowing there is more good from whence our present good came. Unlimited, unbound, God flows forth to fill the lives of the grateful. The least we can bring to God is a gift of thanksgiving. It has been said, "The prayer of thanksgiving is the prayer of Appropriation". It creates the atmosphere of mental acceptance, and whatsoever things you ask in prayer believing, these shall be given to you. We are moved beyond fear and doubt into faith and certitude.

Gratitude appreciation and thanksgiving well up as joy in our Hearts; they draw to us our highest and best good, reveal potentialities which now lie dormant. When we are sure of infinite goodness, we can release our possession of things, people, and conditions, thereby expanding our expectancy.

Let us affirm: I now acknowledge the One Source of Infinite Goodness flowing through my life. Knowing gratitude increases my expectancy and receptivity, my constant prayer is,

"O, Lord give me one more thing, a heart replete with thankfulness!"

And so it is! Amen!

Make It A Happier New Year!

A blessed Happy New Year to you and your loved ones! As the joyous holy season comes to a close, we at Ahiah send a special thank you for your loving support and expressions of friendship during the holidays and all through the year.

As the new year opens before us, I invite you to ask yourself whether this year will be the same as last year with the same trials and tribulations or will it be different? Will you express more of your Divine nature more of the same old stuff. So often, without being aware of it, we allow ourselves to be governed by circumstances, the opinions of others and self defeating habits and thoughts. As we enter 2008, take some time to be introspective and analyze the predominant influences in your life, realizing that this is a uniquely auspicious time to rouse your spirit's determination to express more of heaven in 08.

What you were last year, what you were yesterday or what you are now, does not matter. It is what you are becoming by your attitudes and actions now that will shape your future. When the mind is preoccupied with resentments, worries or regrets about the past, it is easy to slip into the rut of familiar habits. To change yourself, to keep to your good resolutions, take responsibility for the present moment. As a wise mystic once encouraged us: "Today fill the cup of life with all-round success. Forget the failures and trials of buried yesterdays, and frown not at the unborn fears of a future tomorrow. The regrets of yesterdays and anxieties about the future can be dispelled if all todays are lived correctly. Concentrate your best efforts to succeed today, and sooner or later they will be crowned with glory."

Life is a series of choices, and our progress depends on little daily victories. Each time you resist some temptation, or choose to be understanding when it is difficult, or think of God in spite of distractions, you connect with the Presence. Just the effort to begin afresh etches new patterns in our consciousness and creates new causes of success. Take courage in the thought that whenever you willing to persevere, God in whose image you are made draws very near, coaxing you onward with unconditional compassion and patience that will never wane.

May your heart, mind and soul be filled with unshakable conviction that, as a divine emanation of Spirit you are filled with wisdom, love, joy, peace, love and health. Allow it to reveal itself, It is your divine destiny!

Unceasing blessings Always

Ahiah
