The Pet Assistance Foundation of San Diego refers pet owners to veterinarians offering low-cost spay and neuter services for cats, dogs, and rabbits. Please call (619) 544-1222 Monday, Wednesday, or Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. for a referral to a veterinarian in your area of San Diego County. We are so appreciative of the veterinarians who work with us. Without them our program could not exist.
Our organization, made up entirely of dedicated volunteers, has been helping residents of San Diego County with low-cost spay/neuter referrals and education for over 25 years. We also help to subsidize some spay or neuter surgeries for those who qualify for such assistance.
Currently Pet Assistance is in need of donations if we are to continue our work. 90% of all donations goes directly to help pets. If you can help, please send your tax-deductible donation to:

If you would like to volunteer from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. or from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. one Monday, Wednesday or Friday morning or afternoon every week, please contact us at (619) 544-1222. All calls are transferred to your home telephone. Spanish-speaking volunteers are greatly needed. This is a long-term commitment. Volunteers are needed for a four hour shift once a week, every week.
