May took us to the breathtaking Gardens of the World in Thousand Oaks. Our lovely "Priness Bride" made arrangements to tour the gardens and lunch at Roxie's Deli after. The Gardens were magnificant. Eating at Roxie's is always fun. We did a quick surpise for the Princess by having a birthday sundae brought to her.

A birthday sundae for Princess Bride
June took us, or should I say me, right in the middle of a super surprise Minature Golf Trip. It all started very innocently with a great group heading for Golf and Stuff in Ventura and a lunch after at Eric Erickson's on the wharf. Or so I thought. As it turns out it was a well planned "set-up" by just about every member of the chapter as a birthday party for me. We had a fantastic time. There were prizes given out for the Boogie shot, a birdie, a hole in one and of course the top score. All was in jest with "silly" prizes. Then came the biggy. I was presented with an avalanche of birthday gifts, a personal birthday song written by the Queen and sung to me by the chapter. And of course a special Purple hat birthday cake. It was a grand grand day. I loved it. Thank you all.
