We believe silliness is the comedy relief of life and, since we are together, we might as well join red-gloved hands and go for the gusto together. Underneath the frivolity, we share a bond of affection, forged by common life experiences and enthusiasm for where ever life brings.

Good-Morning my little queen bees.

First of all I want to thank all the Queen bees that went to Hampton Manor nursing home to befriend a lady. I thought it was important for us to keep our commitment to them. They were looking so forward to it.

I’m sorry I couldn’t be there but as most of you know our Mom passed away on Thursday April 30 and it was just too soon for me to go back there. I am sure losing my Mom was the hardest thing I have ever been through. Even though my Mom was ill for so long when the time came it was very painful. This sounds so stupid but as I told Dianne “I didn’t think she was going to die”. Even in her illness she was still with us and now she is gone.

Heather had her eyes operated on this last month two weeks apart and the results are wonderful. Its so hard for us to understand why they waited so long before doing her surgery, remember a second opinion never hurts.

Jackie Jordon also had eye surgery and is very happy with the results.

Marianna is doing well after her hip surgery. I have not seen her but word gets around.

May 23. 2009 We will take the Train to Union Station for those of you who would like to go to Chinatown all we have to do is get on the subway and go one stop and we are there. So you have your choice stay at Olivera Street and have a Mexican Lunch or go on to Chinatown. The going on to Chinatown sounds like no big deal. We will leave the San Bernardino Station at 10:00 am we will get to the Union station at 11:30am When it is time to come home you can come home at 3:25 train gets you home at 5:08pm There is also a 4:45 or 6:15 train coming home for those who might want to stay longer. You can bring a friend or a spouse on this little trip if you like. The Train ride is $5.50 round trip. So make your plans.
