Dues for the Ruby Rail Cruisers will be $10 per year or $1 per gathering (You save big bucks by purchasing the year payment plan of just $10)

Red Hat Society annual dues is $20 per member (You will receive an official Red Hat Society "Supporting Member" card from Hat Quarters).

And the $10 chapter annual dues help pay for the RHS Charter annual dues, postage costs, and also for our website DOMAIN name: www.rubyrailcruisers.info

Chinese Lunch - FEB 27 (a wonderful way to celebrate Chinese New Year and for that matter just have a good time at the beginning of this new year). The Golden Dragon on Harbor in Costa Mesa. For directions and information on this fine Chinese restaurant please visit: www.cmgoldendragon.com

San Diego on RHS Day, Sunday, April 25 More details to follow.


L.A. Union Station & Olvera Street Saturday, May 29. (While in Olvera Street RHS ladies may enjoy great Mexican food or walk over to Phillppe's French Dip Restaurant for lunch.)


San Juan Capistrano June 19 -- Ride the rails to beautiful San Juan Capistrano and enjoy a wonderful lunch at the Vintage Steakhouse -- DETAILS coming later (I need to give them a call)

Santa Barbara Greek Festival on Sunday , July 25, 2010 Just $49 buys you a nice motorcoach ride up to the festival and back. Lunch is NOT included.Plenty of available authentic Greek food at the festival to satisfy your palette.

For those of you that live closer to that destination OR just want to MEET us up there will not have to pay the $49 for motorcoach transportation. Those of you that want a bus ride from Fountain Valley, Seal Beach, and Long Beach, GOOD TIMES TRAVEL is provided a motorcoach for $49. Please let me know if you wish to join me on the motorcoach as I am collecting the monies for the agency. Let me know either way if you plan to go so that I can tell you when to meet us up there. There are three bus pick up points: FV, SBL, and CON. Please let me know if you are interested or need more information. Checks are to be made out to GOOD TIMES TRAVEL and mailed to me for processing. Hope to see you on this tour


Lake Arrowhead Cruise Saturday, August 14, 2010 The Ruby Rail Cruisers will join Good Times Travel for an enjoyable day on Lake Arrowhead. You will discover breathtaking alpine wonderland that is often coined the "Alps of Southern California" on a narrated cruise aboard the Arrowhead Queen, a Louisiana-style paddle-wheeler. Become acquainted with the colorful history of the area and see the homes of movie stars of yesteryear. An optional lunch with a choice of entree and dessert at a lakeside restaurant, or lunch on your own at one of the eateries in the village. Suggested walking shoes and a sweater or jacket. The boat has shaded and unshaded areas for your comfort. Price is just $59 (NO LUNCH INCLUDED) or $79 with the optional lunch (choice of 2: chicken or beef sandwich). The bus will depart from FV at 8 am, Seal Beach at 8:20 am and Long Beach (Conant Street) at 8:45 am and return approximately at 7 pm. Checks are to be made out to GOOD TIMES TRAVEL and mailed to me for processing. Hope to see you on this tour

Saturday, March 28, 2009 Hsi Lai Temple
All four of us that made it to this event enjoyed a wonderful day at the temple. We had an excellent guide. His name is Don and he converted to Buddhism after finding out that the believes that Buddhist live by he believed all his life. He used to be a Methodist Preacher and is now married to a Presbyterian and is a very happy person. He gave us the royal treatment at the Hsi Lai Temple.

Saturday, January 31, 2009 Chado Tea Room and the Nethercutt Museam
Five of us enjoyed the day in Pasadena and Sylmar with tea at Chado Tea Room in Pasadena and a wonderful museum located in Sylmar The Nethercutt Museum that houses antique automobiles, instruments, hood ornaments, a plethora of small artwork encased in class, and The Nethercutt Locomotive with private rail car .
