Welcome to Sharing & Caring of Tehachapi
Sharing & Caring is a non-profit organization serving Tehachapi, California City, Mojave, and Rosamond. We help families with utilities, medical emergency assistance, and more. Our pantry feeds hundreds of families yearly. We are volunteer-run, and supported solely by tax-deductible donations from the community. Sharing & Caring is located at 311 South Curry Street in downtown Tehachapi. We are open Monday-Friday, 9:30 A.M.-4:00 P.M. Please drop by, you'll be helping someone in need.
Sharing & Caring is in need of the following items:
- Working refrigerators (full-size and apartment-size)
- High boy and low boy dressers
- Small office desk
- Computer table
- Washers and dryers
- Night stands
- Any other usable discards
Sharing & Caring's thrift store carries:
- Clothing and shoes (men's, women's, children's)
- Furniture
- Small and large appliances
- Knick-knacks and collectibles
- Kitchen items
- Toys and games
- Books, records, and tapes
You can also drop-off donations by appointment on Saturday and Sunday. Please call 822-3001 to make arrangements.
Please bring donations to 311 South Curry Street or call 822-3001 for pick-up. Pantry donations are also accepted Monday-Friday, 9:30 A.M.-4:00 P.M.
