 Join the Club
Are you ready to join the club? If so, please review the benefits and requirements on membership below. Then follow the instructions for submitting the Membership Form. Please contact our VP, Membership, by clicking on the appropriate link to the lower left of this page, if you have any questions!
Benefits of Membership
- Advice from MOM’s. What better experts to advise you on the wonderful journey of being a mother of multiples, than a group of women who have already experienced it or are in the process of experiencing it. The children of our members range in age from adulthood to infancy.
- Professional Advice. Additionally, we try to regularly schedule speakers at our General Meetings who can provide professional advice on topics we all appreciate. We also have a library of books available to all members.
Big Sister. When you join, a big sister will be assigned to you. She will help you get to know more about the club and meet the other members. We want everyone to feel welcome from the moment they arrive.
- Support. Anytime you are in need, you can reach out to our Sunshine Chairmom and she will ensure that you get the support you need, whether it be some meals for your family, someone to watch your children for an hour or 2, or an errand that needs to be run. We pride ourselves on supporting our fellow MOM’s.
- Clothing and Equipment Exchanges. Equipement and clothing for multiples is easier than ever to find in stores...but it all comes at a price. Our members regularly have equipment for sale at greatly reduced prices or for free! We also hold clothing exchanges.
- Friendship & Fun. Who knows better than the other MOM’s how important it is to have a night off. In addition to other social activities, we schedule regular MOM’s Nights Out, where we take in a movie or go for a pedicure.
- Sense of Community. In addition to caring for eachother, we also care about our community. We have many positions available within the club that require very little time, but do a lot to help keep the club running and provide a service to local and affiliated philanthropic causes. It is a fun and easy way to make a positive difference in someone else's life.
Membership Requirements
- Annual Dues Annual dues are $25 and are due when you join. Dues renewal occurs in April. Anyone that joined mid year will have their second year fees pro-rated. $9 of your dues is sent to the NOMOTC for membership on your behalf.
- MOM Status To be a member, you must be an expecting, existing or one-time mother of twins, triplets or higher-order multiples. Fathers are welcome at many of our events, but we ask that they only attend by invitation only. This helps to provide a safe and comfortable enviornment for our members.
- Club Status In April of every year, we ask members to verify their club status. You have the option of being active or inactive. Active members are required to attend General Meetings at least quarterly, they are able to vote on all club matters, and are asked to hold a chairmom, committee or board position in the club. After 10 years of active membership, you are granted lifetime honorary status. Inactive Members are welcome at all club events and meetings. However they are not allowed to vote on club matters and will not be eligible for honorary status. Our club only succeeds because of the effort put forth by membership.
