 Marine Protected Areas
 The following information describes the locations in which TeamOCEAN operates that are subject to Marine Protected Area restrictions. Basically, reserves do not allow any fishing or collecting, while conservation areas allow limited fishing or collecting as specified. Please select the highlighted references in order to view maps and other information in the Department of Fish and Game's online guide.
Cannery Row
Elkhorn Slough
- Recreational fishing of finfish only by hook-and-line is allowed between the Hwy 1 bridge and the area on the south side of the slough marked by the line of eucalyptus trees bordering the gun club property before Seal Bend perpendicular to the slough (Elkhorn Slough State Marine Conservation Area)
- Clams may be collected only on the north shore of the slough in the area adjacent to the Moss Landing
State Wildlife Area between the Hwy 1 bridge and Seal Bend (Elkhorn Slough State Marine Conservation Area)
- No fishing or marine life collection is permitted from the area on the south side of the slough marked by eucalyptus trees bordering the gun club property before Seal Bend perpendicular to the slough and east to the end of the slough (Elkhorn Slough State Marine Reserve)
